Dan Keeffe has over 20 years of work experience, primarily in the field of education and engagement in museums and zoos. Dan has held various roles at different organizations in Los Angeles, including the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.

Dan Keeffe earned a Master of Science in Education with a field of study in Leadership in Museum Education from the Bank Street College of Education from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geology/Geophysics from Western Washington University, completing their degree from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, Dan holds certifications as a Certified Interpretive Guide and a Certified Interpretive Trainer from the National Association for Interpretation.
