Nicole Carcel serves as the Director of Community Relations at Los Angeles World Airports since February 2023. Previously, Nicole held the position of Director of Strategic Planning & External Affairs with the City of Los Angeles from July 2013 to February 2023. Additional experience includes serving as a Board Member for LACER Afterschool Programs from August 2012 to January 2023, and working as Deputy Campaign Manager for Mike Feuer's campaign for LA City Attorney from January 2013 to July 2013. Nicole also worked as a Senior Field Representative for the California State Assembly from January 2010 to January 2013 and interned in the Political Department of the Embassy of Chile in early 2009. Academic credentials include a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and dual Bachelor's degrees in International Studies - Latin America, Issues and Institutions and Spanish Language and Literature from UC Irvine, along with education from Pôle Universitaire Léonard de Vinci.
