Erinn Whiteside has over 20 years of experience in human resources management. Erinn currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Human Resources at the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Human Resources for the same organization from August 2016 to July 2021, where they led and managed HR operations for a global non-profit organization, overseeing offices in multiple countries and implementing new HR systems.
Before their role at the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, Erinn held various HR leadership positions. Erinn was the Director of Human Resources at Decron Properties Corp., a real estate management company, from March 2015 to July 2016. In this role, they managed HR, payroll, and office management for a large organization.
From October 2007 to January 2015, Erinn served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Altegra Health, a professional services organization specializing in healthcare solutions. Erinn was responsible for all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, benefit strategy, performance management, and employee relations.
Prior to that, they worked as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Twentieth Century Fox, where they managed HR operations for the Domestic Home Entertainment division and the Licensing and Merchandising division. Erinn held this position from July 2000 to October 2007.
Erinn began their HR career as the Director of Human Resources at The Recording Academy (The GRAMMY's) from November 1998 to June 2000. In this role, they established the HR department and developed strategic goals for multiple non-profit organizations.
Throughout their career, Erinn Whiteside has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in various HR functions, including talent acquisition, benefits administration, payroll management, performance management, and policy development.
Erinn Whiteside holds a B.A. degree in Theatre Arts from UC Irvine. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, and DDI Facilitator Certification from DDI | Development Dimensions International. Erinn has also studied Human Resources Management at California State University, Long Beach.
