Andy Ortiz is the current Director at Los Angeles LGBT Center. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Western Dental from July 2014 to June 2015. In this role, Ortiz was responsible for all facets of the HR Function for a 4,500-employee healthcare organization. Andy also served as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit regarding key organizational and management issues.

Ortiz began their career at Warner Bros. in March 2008 as the SVP of Organization Effectiveness. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve organizational effectiveness and productivity. Andy also oversaw talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training and leadership development, compensation and benefits.

Andy Ortiz has a certificate in Healthcare Change Management from Cornell University, a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University, a certificate in Executive Coaching from the Hudson Institute of Coaching, and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from California State University, Fullerton.
