Bryan Stephens

Bryan Stephens has a diverse and extensive work experience. Bryan started their career in 2001 at the UCLA Film & TV Archive as a Colorist/Digital Restoration specialist, where they were responsible for telecine operations, digitization, transcoding, and digital restoration of film, video, and audio. Bryan also supervised outside film and video transfers and ensured material conformity to industry standards. In 2008, they joined Deluxe and held various roles, including Video Systems Engineer, Video Manager, and Global Technical Onboarding and QA Manager. In these positions, they managed relationships with studios and vendors, developed and implemented new processes, identified and evaluated new technologies, researched and gathered information on digital distribution systems, managed and developed engineering teams, troubleshooted workflows and technical problems, and managed transcoding farms. In 2023, Bryan will be joining LADB - Los Angeles Distribution & Broadcasting as the Director of Operations.

Bryan Stephens holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Radio-TV-Film from The University of Texas at Austin. Bryan has also obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in August 2023 and the certification of Preventing Workplace Harassment from Emtrain in December 2019. Additionally, Bryan has completed the Salesforce Platform Basics Badge from Salesforce Trailhead, although the specific month and year of completion are not provided.
