Brenden Hamilton is a Director's Postdoctoral Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory since June 2022, following extensive research experience at Purdue University as a Graduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Researcher from August 2015 to June 2022, focusing on Molecular Dynamics simulations of energetic materials. Previous experience includes a Graduate Student Researcher position at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where Brenden contributed to computational chemistry and shock physics in the Materials Science division, and an Undergraduate Intern position at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. Additionally, Brenden served as a certified APS User at Argonne National Laboratory, conducting XRD and EXAFS experiments on nuclear materials. Brenden holds a PhD in Materials Engineering and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Materials Engineering and Honors Applied Physics from Purdue University.
