Mahdi Choudhury serves as the Membership Director at Marylebone Cricket Club since July 2021, overseeing all member-related matters and governance, including the Annual General Meeting. Choudhury is also a Panel Member of Arbitrators and Mediators at Sport Resolutions UK since April 2018. Previously, Choudhury held the position of Independent Director at the European Rugby League Federation from September 2018 to November 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing international competition and financial governance. From June 2019 to May 2021, Choudhury was the Chief Executive Officer of The British Athletes Commission, leading the independent representative body for Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Additional experience includes roles at the British Olympic Association as Head of Sport Operations, a sport regulatory lawyer, and an International Relations Advisor at UK Sport. Choudhury's educational background includes degrees in Law from Nottingham Law School and King's College London, as well as a BA in Joint Honours from the University of Birmingham.
