Werner J Schweiger is a seasoned executive in the energy industry with extensive experience in operations and management. Currently serving as Executive Advisor for Operations at Long Island Power Authority since July 2023, Schweiger previously held the position of EVP and COO at Eversource Energy from September 2014 to July 2023, overseeing various entities including NSTAR Electric and Public Service of New Hampshire. Prior roles include President of Electric Distribution at Northeast Utilities and President of NSTAR Electric & Gas. Schweiger's professional journey also includes significant tenure as SVP of Operations at KeySpan and VP of Electric Operations.
