Michael (Mike) Stoma is a former educator and native Houstonian.
A graduate of Aldine Douglas MacArthur High School, Stoma attended what was then North Harris County College (NHCC) in its infancy at Aldine High School before a single campus was built. NHCC was later to become Lone Star College.
Stoma went on to teach Electronics Engineering Technology at NHCC and has also taught Business and Computer Information Systems as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston-Downtown.
Stoma is a career business and technology consultant who has a history of public service with the Texas House of Representatives and the Houston Police Department. He is a U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran.
A highly accomplished and strategic program and project management professional with a proven track record of delivering multi-million dollar projects on time and under budget, Stoma has expertise in overseeing Information Technology-based projects and in leading cross-functional teams and off-shore partners.
Stoma holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of St. Thomas. Stoma is currently continuing his education studying Management Information Systems at the University of Illinois.
His interests are golfing and motorcycling.
