Sharon Ament has extensive leadership experience in cultural and public engagement organizations, currently serving as the Director of the Museum of London since 2012, where bold ambitions are set to enhance the cultural experiences of residents and visitors. Previously, Sharon was the Director of Public Engagement at the Natural History Museum from 2000 to 2012, overseeing a large team responsible for various public-facing operations. Prior experience includes serving as the Head of Marketing & PR at London Zoo from 1993 to 2000, where efforts contributed to the zoo's turnaround and reputation as a conservation organization. Sharon began their career as the National Marketing Manager at the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust from 1986 to 1993. Sharon holds a degree in History of Art from the University of Leeds.
