Anna Sheldon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial and visitor operations within the museum and theatre sectors. Currently serving as Head of Commercial & Visitor Operations at the Museum of London since July 2016, Anna leads a multi-disciplinary department focused on strategic goals across various visitor services, including hospitality, retail, and security. Previously, Anna held roles such as Head of Visitor Experience & Security and Senior Visitor Services Manager at the Museum of London, and before that, worked at the Ambassador Theatre Group as Deputy Theatre Manager and Front of House Manager. Anna's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from the University of Hull and a high school education from Chesham Grammar School.
