Michael McVicker currently serves as the Head of Local Government Finance at London Councils since July 2022, having previously held the role of Local Government Finance Policy Manager. Prior to this position, Michael was the Portfolio Strategy Manager at UPP from January 2022 to July 2022. Between January 2014 and September 2021, Michael worked at the City of Seattle as a Fiscal & Policy Analyst and Policy Adviser. Michael also held the role of Deputy Finance Director during the Seattle Mayoral Campaign from June 2013 to January 2014. Earlier in 2013, Michael was an Underwriter & Financial Analyst at HomeStreet Bank and from June 2006 to March 2012, Michael worked at Bank of America in multiple capacities including Portfolio Management Officer, Financial Analyst, and Underwriter. Michael holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Government from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the University of Washington.
