Dr Nick Bowes FRSA FRGS is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy development and research. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Insight at London Communications Agency since June 2023, Dr Bowes also holds a position as a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at King’s College London’s King’s Policy Institute. Previously, Dr Bowes was the Chief Executive of the Centre for London, a major think tank, from June 2021 to June 2023, and worked as the Mayoral Director of Policy at the Greater London Authority from May 2016 to May 2021. Dr Bowes has been deeply involved in political strategy, having served as Director of Policy for Sadiq Khan's mayoral campaign and as a Senior Political Advisor in the House of Commons. In addition to a strong background in local government as a Councillor in Wandsworth, Dr Bowes has held key roles at The Royal Society and EEF. Educational achievements include a PhD in Geography from The University of Sheffield and a BSc in Geography and Mathematics from Newcastle University.
