Rebecca Wakeford is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and legal counsel within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Product Lead at Wayflyer since July 2024, Rebecca has previously held prominent roles such as Product Lead at Cherrypick and Head of Product at Laka, where responsibilities included overseeing B2C and B2B product strategy. Prior to these roles, Rebecca gained significant expertise at Banco Santander, managing consumer lending and payments products, and leading innovative projects in the Santander Innovation Lab. Rebecca's legal acumen was honed as Lead Legal Counsel for Innovation, Digital and Technology at Santander UK and as an associate at Addleshaw Goddard, where specializations included commercial contracts and payments law. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business Law, and completed a legal practice course at BPP Law School.
