Kara Gates has worked in the logistics industry since 1997. Kara began their career at CEVA Logistics, where they held various roles, including Fleet Supervisor, Customer Service, Data Entry, Regional Logistics Manager, Global Customer Service Manager, and Technical Sales Support Manager. In 2014, they moved to Gemini, Inc. as a Logistics Specialist. In 2017, they joined State Farm® as an Insurance Consultant. In 2020, they took time off to be CEO of Gates Chateau & Managing Director of their Tiny Daughter & Elderly Mother. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Lojistic as Freight Audit & Ops Manager.

Kara Gates attended MacCormac College from 1997 to 2001, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Court Reporting/Court Reporter. Prior to that, they attended Downers Grove South from 1989 to 1993, where they completed their high school studies.
