Milos Cernak

Principal Engineer at Logitech

Milos Cernak is a Principal Engineer at Logitech, serving since November 2017, where also holds the position of Lead Speech Processing Engineer in the CTO office. Prior to joining Logitech, Milos was a Senior Engineer and Research Associate at Idiap Research Institute from October 2011 to October 2017. Additional experience includes a lecturer role in Speech Signal Processing at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, a researcher position at the Institute of Informatics, Slovak Academy of Sciences, and R&D roles at IBM and Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte. Milos has contributed to the development of automatic speech recognition and synthesis systems throughout a diverse career that began as a Junior Software Engineer at Siemens. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Telecommunications from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave obtained between 2001 and 2004, and further studies at EPFL in 2017.
