Richard Schofield has extensive experience in technology and leadership roles. Richard is currently the CTO at Logan Homes, where they establish the company's technical direction and leads technological development. Prior to this, Schofield worked at CloudWyze, Inc. as the CTO/Senior Solutions Architect, where they led the strategy for technology platforms and managed a diverse technology team. Richard also served as the Director of Technology at CloudWyze, overseeing technical projects and the effective delivery of networks. Previously, Schofield worked at OPTEREX as a VoIP Engineer, responsible for developing a successful voice/data unified communications business unit. Richard began their career at BBXComputers as an IT Manager/Network Administrator, where they installed and maintained network systems.
Richard Schofield attended Cape Fear Community College from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Information Technology. Richard then enrolled in Miller Motte Technical College from 2003 to 2005 and obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Network Engineering. In 2011, Richard attended the VMware Education Academy and earned a certification in Information Technology as a VCP (VMware Certified Professional). In addition to their formal education, Richard has also obtained certifications in A+, MCSA Server 2003, Network+, and VCP vSphere 4, although the specific institutions and dates of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
