Doug Obenshain is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and business advisory roles. Since July 2009, Doug has served as Senior Vice President at Lockton Commercial Insurance, where responsibilities include helping clients across the United States minimize their Total Cost of Risk through strategic analysis and risk management solutions. Additionally, Doug operates as an angel investor and advisor to early-stage businesses, providing guidance on business development and financial support when appropriate. Doug also holds a position on the Board of Trustees at the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute since September 2004, contributing to the organization's governance and strategic direction. Previously, Doug spent nearly three decades at Ernst & Young LLP, culminating in a role as Partner, with a focus on auditing within the life sciences and healthcare sectors, among others. Doug earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with double majors in Accounting and Finance from Miami University, graduating in 1980.
