Nico Madrid is currently gaining experience as a GN&C Intern at Lockheed Martin since May 2024 and has been involved with the CU Sounding Rocket Laboratory since January 2022, contributing as a member of the Avionics Team, serving as Treasurer, and participating in the Composites Manufacturing Team. Previously, Nico completed a summer internship as an Avionics Engineer Intern at Astrobotic from May to August 2023. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, anticipated in May 2025, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Computer Science, obtained in May 2024. Early education includes a High School Diploma from Phillips Academy and earlier studies at Rippowam Cisqua School.
