Mrs. Mejia has served as a member of the board since the inception of Location Based Technologies in 2005 and is a co-founder of the company. Mrs. Mejia is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer for SkyBell, Inc., a leading-edge provider, and creator of video doorbells and other security technology.

With co-founder Joseph Scalisi, Mrs. Mejia took the concept of using a GSM/GPRS tracking platform, combining it with a mapping service and creating a revolutionary tracking system to the next step of reality. Thus, the PocketFinder system was born.

Previously, Mrs. Mejia performed as an operations manager and gained experience working with venture capital firms to help raise funds for the technology sector. She also consulted with a wireless manufacturing company to assist with the launch of a new wireless device. Prior to this, Mrs. Mejia worked with Deloitte and Touche, LLP where she specialized in the technology and telecommunications field. Previously, Mrs. Mejia acted as the head researcher and assistant to the Chairman at MESA Research, whose clients included AT&T, Motorola, Nortel, 3Com, and Phillips.

Mrs. Mejia has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University, Dominguez Hills, California.
