Alex Marshall

Alex Marshall has extensive experience in various roles within the technology, entertainment, and education industries. Most recently, they hold the position of Vice President of Product Management and User Experience at Loblaw Digital since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Netflix in different roles, including Director of Product Innovation, Director of EMEA Marketing Strategy & Analysis, Director of Originals Marketing Strategy & Analysis, and Manager of Originals Marketing Strategy & Analysis. Alex was also a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences during the period from September 2015 to April 2021. Before their time at Netflix, they worked at Kobo Inc. as a Manager of Brand Strategy & Planning. In their earlier career, they held positions at Research In Motion as a Senior Market Planning Manager, Manager of Consumer Insights, Consumer Insight Analyst, and Customer Information Analyst. Alex also worked as a Research Analyst at nGenera Corporation and as an Instructor at Veritas Prep. Alex started their professional journey as an Instructional Assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University. Alex Marshall has a strong background in leadership, product management, marketing strategy, analysis, and research.

Alex Marshall earned an Honours B.A. degree in Political Science and History from Wilfrid Laurier University. Later, they pursued an MBA degree from the same institution, completing it between 2008 and 2010.
