Saad Malik is a sustainability professional currently serving as the Sustainability Director at Lloyds Banking Group since July 2023, where responsibilities include driving the sustainability agenda in business banking with a focus on sustainable finance products. Prior to this role, Saad held significant positions at National Grid as the Group ESG & Sustainability Reporting Lead, achieving notable accomplishments in sustainability reporting and compliance with international standards. With extensive experience in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting and risk advisory at PwC, and solid audit experience at KPMG and Grant Thornton UK LLP, Saad has developed a strong foundation in finance and sustainability. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment from UCL and an ACA from ICAEW, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Liverpool.
