Since 2020, Albert Medrán has held the position of Director-General of the High Commission for Spain: Entrepreneurial Nation at the Presidency of the Government. Prior to that, he was the Chief of Staff of the State Secretariat for Digital Development at the Ministry of Economy and Business. He represented the State on the Board of Trustees of the Barcelona Mobile World Capital Foundation and formed part of the Red.es and Incibe councils. He was previously the Director of Communication at Actuable and at Change.org between 2011 and 2017. He has now returned to LLYC where he worked for three years as a communication consultant in the digital department.
Albert Medrán holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Administration from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a Master’s Degree in Political Marketing and Post-graduate Studies in Political Communication, both from ICPS-Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona.
