Lisa Newbold has a diverse work experience in finance and leadership roles. Lisa is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at LKAB Minerals starting from August 2021. Prior to that, Lisa worked at Polypipe as the Finance Director for the Polypipe Building Products division from November 2019 to August 2021. Lisa also held the position of Head of Corporate Finance and Treasury at Polypipe from January 2019 to October 2019. Lisa's experience includes an interim role at SIG plc as the Group Finance Projects Lead from October 2018 to December 2018. Lisa had an extensive tenure at Keepmoat Homes where they held several key roles including Head of Corporate Finance and Treasury from July 2017 to July 2018, Head of Group Treasury and Tax from May 2015 to July 2017, and Group Tax Manager from May 2013 to May 2015. Lisa started their career at EVO Group as the Group Tax Manager from January 2011 to May 2013 and they began their professional journey at Deloitte as a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager from September 2005 to September 2008, and later as a Tax Investigations Manager from September 2008 to December 2010.

Lisa Newbold attended Derby High School from 1994 to 2001. Lisa then went on to study Law (LLB) at The University of Sheffield from 2001 to 2004. Lisa pursued further education at The University of Sheffield, completing a Masters in Law (LLM) with a focus on Corporate and International Law from 2004 to 2005. In 2005, they became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, obtaining their ACA qualification. Lisa expanded their knowledge in taxation by studying at the Chartered Institute of Taxation from 2009 to 2010, earning a qualification in CTA. In 2015, they attended the Association of Corporate Treasurers, where they obtained a Certificate in International Treasury Management.
