Joe McGee has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Joe began their career in 2014 at McKinsey & Company, where they worked as an Analyst as part of the Medical Elective Programme. From 2014 to 2015, they served as a Medical Doctor at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Joe then moved to Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust in 2015 and continued their role as a Medical Doctor until 2016. In 2016, Joe joined Strategy& as an Associate and later became a Senior Associate until 2018. Joe then worked at PwC as a Corporate Finance Manager from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Investment Director at Livingbridge, starting from 2019.

Joe McGee attended Bingley Grammar School from 1999 to 2007. Joe then pursued their undergraduate education at The University of Manchester from 2008 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Medicine, MB ChB. During their time at the university, from 2010 to 2011, they also completed a degree in Anatomical Sciences B Sc hons, specializing in Life Sciences.
