Alexa Verner is a skilled registered nurse with extensive experience in adult patient care and support for individuals with disabilities. Currently serving as a registered nurse in the Adult Unit at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare since January 2016, Alexa also provides nursing support at Living Well Disability Services since May 2012. In this role, Alexa coordinates healthcare plans and offers direct care including bathing, feeding, and medication administration for adults with developmental and physical disabilities. Additionally, Alexa has hands-on experience from a nursing student capstone in the Emergency Department from January to May 2015. Alexa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, along with studies in Spanish and Psychology from The College of St. Scholastica.
