James Edwards has accumulated substantial experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as an Air Traffic Control Assistant and Flight Safety Coordinator at Liverpool John Lennon Airport since July 2020. James holds an Aeronautical Meteorological Observer Certificate and assists air traffic controllers by enhancing safety through vigilant monitoring of runway operations and radar contacts. Prior to this role, James worked at Ravenair, where responsibilities included operating assistance and volunteer coordination, along with a focus on customer service and aircraft management. Experience also includes guest services at Hampton, where James managed guest relations during high-pressure situations. James possesses a Level 3 Diploma in Aviation Studies from St Helens College and has a solid academic foundation with GCSE qualifications from Saints Peter & Paul Catholic High School.
