Luke McCoy has had a varied career in the sports industry. In 2012, they founded and directed Virtual Performance Analysis, a company providing elite high performance strategies and video recording and analysis services. That same year, they also took on the role of Australian Account Manager for Once Sport. In 2016, McCoy became the Co-Founder and CEO of LIGR Live, the only OS for live sports. In 2020, McCoy began mentoring for Techstars.

Luke McCoy's education history includes graduating from Gosford Selective High School in 2007 with a Higher School Certificate, completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of Technology Sydney in 2010, and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Newcastle in 2012. Luke also holds certifications in ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach, Apply First Aid/CPR, Elastoplast Advanced Sports Strapping, and SMA Level 1 Sports Trainer.
