Jennifer Koster, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jennifer began their career at IPA Management, LLC, where they initially served as a Property Manager from August 1995 to September 1998. Jennifer then transitioned to the role of Training and Auditing Specialist from September 1998 to July 2000.

In July 2000, Jennifer joined Liv Communities LLC, a company focused on developing and operating luxury multifamily living communities. Jennifer started as the Director of Human Resources and held this position for 17 years until April 2017. During their time at Liv Communities, they played a key role in the company's mission to create communities that foster personal growth and connection, ultimately leading to the residents' overall satisfaction.

Jennifer then advanced to the role of Vice President of Human Resources at Liv Communities, where they continued to contribute to the company's growth and success until November 2022. As Vice President, they worked closely with the executive team to ensure effective HR strategies and programs were in place.

Jennifer'smost recent position is as the Chief People Officer at Liv Communities. In this role, Jennifer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, aligning the company's HR initiatives with its overall business goals, and nurturing a positive work environment.

Additionally, Jennifer is also associated with Chief, an organization dedicated to empowering senior women leaders. As the Chief Member, they collaborate with other influential women to drive change and strengthen their leadership journeys.

Jennifer Koster has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Alma College, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. Jennifer later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resources from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies, graduating between 2000 and 2005. Jennifer also holds additional certifications, including the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM Certification, which they obtained in January 2015, and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which they obtained in 2003. In 2023, Jennifer plans to complete the Meta Performance Management Training - Executive Coaching Training program from Novus Global.
