Ginger Zee is the Chief Meteorologist and Chief Climate Correspondent for ABC News, a position held since October 2011, where responsibilities include leading weather coverage and managing the Climate Unit. Additionally, Ginger serves as the host and contributor for the show "Hearts of Heroes" on Litton Entertainment since October 2018. Prior experience includes roles as a Meteorologist and Reporter for WMAQ NBC from October 2006 to October 2011, as well as positions at WOOD TV and WEYI - NBC25. Ginger began a career in meteorology at Citadel Broadcasting in December 2002. A graduate of Valparaiso University, Ginger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology.
