Stefan Niemczyk

Director, External Manufacturing Operations at Little Spoon

Stefan Niemczyk has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. In 2007, they began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they gained valuable skills in investment banking and worked on deals and transactions with clients and global collaborators.

In 2008, Niemczyk transitioned to a role as a Retail Sales Manager at Sur La Table, where they managed sales and provided customer service. Stefan then joined Citrin Hospitality in 2009 as a Lead Line Cook and Event Cook, responsible for executing menu items and providing off-site support for events.

From 2009 to 2010, Niemczyk worked at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. as a Chef Instructor and Retail Sales Manager. In this role, they designed and taught cooking classes featuring Williams-Sonoma products and developed a sales process to drive in-store sales.

In 2011, Niemczyk joined Gourmet Blends as the Head of Business Development and R&D Chef, where they contributed to the company's culinary research and development and led business development efforts.

Niemczyk then founded eliteEATS in 2012, which was later acquired by Territory Foods. As the CEO, Founder, and Executive Chef, they built Southern California's premiere paleo meal delivery service, focusing on preparing and packaging meals that promote health.

In 2015, Niemczyk joined Territory Foods as the SoCal Business Development Manager, responsible for expanding the company's customer base in six US cities. Stefan later became the California Business Development Sr Manager and played a vital role in developing a solution for brands looking to connect with communities through food.

From 2018 to 2022, Niemczyk served as the Head of Culinary Operations and Executive Chef at Territory Foods, responsible for managing the culinary team, curating menus, and establishing quality assurance practices.

Most recently, in 2023, they joined Little Spoon as the Director of External Manufacturing Operations, overseeing the company's operations related to external manufacturing.

Additionally, throughout their career, Niemczyk has also utilized their expertise to support startups and emerging brands in the food industry through their platform, Scratch Made. Stefan provides strategic guidance, research, product development, and operations management to early-stage businesses.

Stefan Niemczyk obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Bucknell University, where they attended from 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts from 2008 to 2010.

In terms of additional certifications, Stefan Niemczyk became ServSafe Food Manager Certified through ServSafe in January 2012. Stefan also holds the certification of Certified Culinarian (CC), awarded by the American Culinary Federation. Additionally, they are a Certified Food Handler, certified by the ANSI National Accreditation Board/ANAB.
