Kiara Muhammad is an experienced educator currently serving as the Lead Infant Teacher at Little Green Tree House since August 2020. Kiara also holds a position as a Student Intern at the Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center since January 2019, where contributions include promoting African American culture through the performing arts, creating culturally respectful campus initiatives, and providing leadership opportunities for students. Prior experience includes tutoring at Southside Elementary School from August 2016 to April 2017, where Kiara focused on enhancing literacy and math skills for kindergarten through third-grade students. Kiara earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2020 and a high school diploma from Lindblom Math & Science Academy in 2016.
