Brandon Kelley has extensive experience in marketing and advertising in the publishing industry. Brandon started their career in 2002 at Wayne State University Press as a Promotion and Direct Mail Coordinator, where they generated publicity and oversaw the production of direct marketing campaigns. In 2005, they joined New York University Press as a Direct Mail and Advertising Coordinator, where they managed direct marketing and advertising plans. Brandon then became an Assistant Marketing Manager, responsible for direct marketing and advertising plans, and later served as the Interim Sales and Marketing Manager, overseeing marketing and sales activities.

In 2010, Brandon joined Penguin Random House as the Manager of Advertising and Promotion, managing marketing plans for a large number of trade hardcover and paperback titles. Brandon worked closely with an advertising agency and a team of freelance copywriters to create and deliver catalogs, advertising materials, and online video trailers.

Since 2014, Brandon has been a part of Little, Brown and Company, initially as the Marketing Operations Director, responsible for planning, creating, approving, and delivering advertising and promotional content. Brandon then became the Senior Director of Marketing Operations, overseeing all advertising and promotion for front-list campaigns and managing high-level marketing budgets. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Director of Marketing Operations, leading a team of art directors and campaign managers to plan, create, and analyze the advertising and promotion of approximately 100 books published annually, including James Patterson's adult front-list titles. Brandon has also implemented a new digital ad workflow to improve audience targeting, reach, and ROI. Overall, Brandon has significant experience in managing marketing operations, coordinating advertising campaigns, and delivering effective promotional materials.

Brandon Kelley attended Michigan State University from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Marketing and English.
