Mirek Klimos began their work experience as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Microsoft in September 2012. Mirek then worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Facebook from June 2013 to August 2013. From February 2013 to September 2014, they served as a Tutor and Teaching Assistant at Masaryk University, Faculty of Informatics. Mirek joined Facebook as a Software Engineer in September 2014 and remained there until November 2018. Mirek then worked at Stripe as a Software Engineer from January 2019 to January 2023. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Lithic, starting from January 2023.

Mirek Klimos completed their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Masaryk University Brno from 2009 to 2012. Mirek then pursued a Master's degree in Theoretical Computer Science at the same university from 2012 to 2014.
