John Hattingh has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John currently holds the position of Managing Director at Liquip, where they have been since 2017. From 2018 to 2021, they served as a Non Executive Director at HYDRONOVA AUSTRALIA-NZ PTY LTD. Prior to that, they worked at Caltex Australia from 2011 to 2017, occupying various roles including National Transformation Officer Supply Chain and Group Strategy & Business Development Advisor. John also has experience working at Shell as a Sales & Marketing - Business Transformation Consultant, Global Implementation Manager, Regional General Manager Marine (NZ & Pacific Islands), and Network Business Manager. John has also held positions at Global Survey as a Product Manager, Oracle HydroSports as a Managing Director, and Castrol as a Regional Manager.
John Hattingh has a diverse education history. In 2017, they attended INSEAD for the INSEAD-Caltex Academy Business Strategy and Financial Acumen program. In 2011, they completed the Executive Leadership Program at Cornell University. From 2003 to 2008, they studied Business at both Shell Open University and the University of Auckland - Business School. In 2008, they pursued Project Management at the George Washington University School of Business. Additionally, in 2007, they participated in the Effective Board Management, Governance & Legal Duties program at the New Zealand Institute of Directors. Prior to all of these, from 1984 to 1989, they obtained a degree in Instrument Avionics Engineering from the SAAF Technical Academy. Alongside their education, they also attained a certification in Business Strategy and Financial Acumen from INSEAD Executive Education in 2017.
