Dr. Patrick Kelly is the inventor of the Versus Catheter. He began his career as a structural engineer before going to medical school. As a vascular surgeon, he began inventing out of the necessity to solve problems he encountered in the operating room and a desire to help his patients recover better. He and his team at Sanford Health have created a large portfolio of patent applications and awarded patents that improve care for his patients and those at countless other healthcare organizations.
