Joost Van Biervliet has extensive experience in both technology and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Lions Foundation (LCIF) District 112C and Region Chairperson MD112 C-31 at Lions Clubs International since July 2021, Joost also holds a position as a Senior Software Engineer at Avalara since October 2009. Prior roles include serving as President for Lions Clubs International from July 2019 to June 2020, as well as various analyst and developer positions at Centric, FASE-it, and HP from the early 1990s until 2009. Joost's military background includes service as an Air Commando with the Belgian Army in the early 1990s.
