Shane McIntyre is an experienced professional in the beverage and manufacturing industries, currently serving as Brewery Director and Engineering Reliability Director at Lion since July 2017. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of the Total Asset Management strategy to enhance production reliability, cost efficiency, quality, and safety, as well as overseeing the Process Safety governance framework. Prior to Lion, Shane held the role of Quality and Technical Director and Regional Supply Chain Manager at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, the continent's leading Coca-Cola bottler. Shane's career began at South African Breweries, where various positions culminated in the role of Manufacturing Manager, overseeing manufacturing and warehousing for the KZN region and leading a Center of Excellence for Packaging. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and completed Matric at Pinetown Boys High.
