Dr. Lerman is Clinical Professor of Anesthesia, Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, SUNY at Buffalo and University of Rochester, Rochester, New York. Dr. Lerman completed his anesthesia residency at the University of Toronto in 1982 and a research fellowship in the Cardiovascular Research Institute at UCSF from 1982-­1983. Dr. Lerman joined the staff at the Hospital for Sick Children in 1983, was Anaesthetist-­in­Chief at the Hospital for Sick Children from 1991-­1996 and was appointed Professor of Anesthesia at the

University of Toronto in 1994. In 2002, he left Toronto and joined the Department of Anesthesia at Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, NY and in 2003 took a part-­time position in the Department of Anesthesia at University of Rochester.
