Margaret Slemmer is an experienced professional in the fields of technology, finance, and investment. Currently serving as Partner and COO at Hard Yaka since June 2018, Margaret is involved in building and investing in technologies that emphasize individual autonomy and inclusion. Margaret also holds board member positions at Uphold Inc. and Linqto, both of which focus on democratizing access to financial services and private investing. Prior experience includes a role as Director/Consultant at Promontory Financial Group, a Financial and Regulatory Analyst at The Dzivi Law Firm, a Risk Management Analyst at Downey Savings, and a Safety and Soundness Examiner at the Office of Thrift Supervision. Margaret earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from Chapman University.
