Alexander Abelson has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Alexander started their career as a STEM Teaching Assistant at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2018, where they assisted in teaching Introduction to Software and Introduction to Mechanical Design to a group of 50 students at a summer camp.

In the same year, Alexander worked as a Student Engineering Project participant at the University of Maryland - A. James Clark School of Engineering. Alexander successfully led a team in building an autonomous vehicle from scratch with a limited budget. Alexander was responsible for programming obstacle avoidance, designing components, selecting and installing electronics parts, and presenting the project to a panel of professional engineers.

From August to December 2018, Alexander worked as an IC Fabrication Lab Researcher at the University of Maryland. Alexander'sresponsibilities included constructing functional elements of Integrated Circuits using photolithography and etching procedures, measuring critical dimensions, and ensuring proper electrical conductivity.

Starting from November 2019 until October 2021, Alexander worked at Berkshire Grey as a Robotic Systems Engineer. Alexander collaborated with the Electrical Engineering team to adjust electrical CAD drawings, performed on-the-fly electrical hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting, utilized remote access tools for system issue resolution, and made structural adjustments to failing production components using Solidworks.

Currently, Alexander is employed as a Hardware Engineer at Linode, starting from November 2021.

Alexander Abelson earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Maryland between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they attended West Orange High School from 2011 to 2015, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for their high school education. In addition to their formal education, Alexander obtained the Certified Support Professional I (CSP-I) certification from the Technology & Services Industry Association (TSIA) in November 2020.
