Wakana Tanaka currently serves as Country Manager at LinkedIn, a position held since March 2023. Previously, Wakana was the President of the Harvard Business School Club of Japan from August 2020 to August 2024 and held various leadership roles at Google from November 2014 to March 2023, including Director and Industry Lead for Large Customer Sales in Japan. Early career experiences include serving as Head of Change Driving Office at GSK, Head of International Relations for the Fukushima Nuclear Accident Independent Investigation Commission, and Regional Brand Development Manager for Unilever. Wakana also founded and served as CEO of One2World, providing coaching and consulting services. Additional roles include significant positions at L'Oreal Japan and Arthur D. Little in Japan. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from Georgetown University.
