Fabian Wunderlich is a German business consultant and Board Observer at Lingoda. Fabian has worked with some of the world's largest companies, helping them to streamline their operations and save billions of dollars.
Wunderlich began their career at McKinsey & Company in September 2008. Fabian quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a Senior Associate in September 2012. In this role, they helped clients deliver organizational change while working in small project teams that reported directly to top management.
During their four years at McKinsey, Wunderlich worked with a number of major companies, including a European insurance group that implemented a $3bn merger of two subsidiaries, a global investment bank that cut $1bn per year in fixed cost, and a European asset manager that reduced $300m per year in backend complexity. Fabian also conducted a due diligence on a $30bn buy-out target for a global private equity group and evaluated an $18bn automotive credit portfolio for a German wholesale bank.
In preparation for a $15bn IPO, Wunderlich also spent time working with a global automotive supplier. Since leaving McKinsey in 2012, they have taken on the role of Board Observer at Lingoda, where they provide strategic advice to the company's management team.
Fabian Wunderlich has a MBA from the London Business School and was an exchange student at HEC Paris for their MBA. Fabian also has a Diplom-Kaufmann in Business Administration from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
