Brian Slawson is an accomplished Principal Timpanist at the Brevard Symphony Orchestra since October 1993 and has been an Author/Arranger for Alfred Music Publishing since January 2011, contributing works such as "Dynamic Solos for Snare Drum" and various volumes of "Classic Mallet Trios." As a Featured Performer in the Meet the Artist Series at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Slawson showcases talent alongside a long-standing career as a Recording Artist with Slawsongs and past roles with major recording labels including Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Bros. Publications. Slawson's education includes studies at The Juilliard School from 1976 to 1979.
