John McCoy has a strong background in engineering and technical support. John has experience working as a Systems Engineer at Linchpin Solutions, Inc. since 2021. Previously, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Titanium Cobra Solutions from 2020 to 2021, where they focused on shipboard C4I integration and interoperability. Before that, John worked as an RF Engineering Technician at Skylla Engineering (MCTSSA) from 2019 to 2020. John also has experience as an Electronics Technician at BAE Systems from 2016 to 2019, where they provided integration, quality control, and maintenance support. John began their career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Radio Technician/Sgt E-5 from 2009 to 2014.

John McCoy attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical project management.
