Omran El Rifaï has extensive experience in research and development (R&D) of mechatronics and mechanical engineering. From 2015 to 2019, they worked for B. Braun Medical as an Intérimaire and Stagiaire, where they gained basic knowledge in machining. From 2019 to 2021, they worked for Lambda Health System as an R&D Mechanical Engineer and Ingénieur en Conception Mecanique. In 2021, they began working for HEIG-VD as an Ingénieur Ra&D en Conception Mecanique, where they were responsible for the mechanical design of a machine for the automated production of cellular and genetic therapies. This included calculations of material resistance, complex assembly design, vibration and resonance calculations, mechanical and electrical dimensioning, stress-deformation studies, 3D prototyping, 2D plan production for industrial manufacturing, material selection, economic solution research, failure mode analysis, technical documentation, and assembly and wiring of servomotors and stepper motors. In 2022, they began working for Limula as an R&D Mechatronics Engineer.
Omran El Rifaï attended Gymnase de Chamblandes from 2010 to 2013 and earned a Baccalauréat in Physique théorique et mathématique. From 2016 to 2019, they attended HEIG-VD for Ingnénieurie mécanique.
