Mahesh Sawant is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in transmission engineering and network planning. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of the Service Engineering Group and NOC at Lightstorm since September 2022, Mahesh leads efforts to validate customer solutions on Transmission and IP networks. Previously, Mahesh held various leadership roles at Tata Communications from December 2007 to September 2022, including General Manager of Transmission Planning, Architecture & Design, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing network design and performance enhancements. Earlier career milestones include positions at Reliance Communications, Tata Teleservices (M) Ltd, TATA Telecom Ltd, and AT&T Finolex Ltd, emphasizing expertise in network optimization and design. Mahesh's educational background includes a PGP-BABI in Business Analytics and Business Intelligence from Great Lakes Institute of Management, a B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication, and a PGDBA in General Management from Welingkar Institute of Management.
