Shachar H. is an experienced professional in computer vision and machine learning with a strong background in engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Research Infrastructure Engineering Manager at Lightricks since November 2018, Shachar has established the company's ML backend and leads a team focused on developing infrastructure for ML-based features. Previous roles at Lightricks include leading teams in computer vision and graphics, working on projects such as segmentation, detection, generative models, and visual effects using advanced shader technologies. Shachar's prior experience includes a role as a Computer Vision Research Engineer at Brandwit, where a mobile 3D computer vision solution was developed, and as Software Engineering Team Lead at Urecsys, where indoor air pollution prediction solutions were created. Shachar holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
