John Handel Kennedy has a diverse background in engineering and research. John Handel started their career as a Research Assistant at Bradley University in 2014 and worked there until 2017. From 2017 to 2021, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Saint Louis University. In 2021, they worked as a CFD Analyst at Stanford University for a short period of time. Currently, they are employed at LTA Research, where they have held two roles since 2021. John Handel started as a CFD Analyst and then transitioned to a Flight Physics Engineer position in October 2022.

John Handel Kennedy obtained their education in a sequential manner. John Handel pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jansons Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they advanced their studies at Bradley University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, completing their studies between 2014 and 2017. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Fluid Dynamics from Saint Louis University, where they studied from 2017 to 2021.
