Soy Chen is a Chief Data Scientist at Lightbeam Health Solutions since May 2022, focusing on applying AI in healthcare through leadership in data science product and development. Previously, Soy Chen held multiple roles at Jvion from 2014 to 2022, including Chief Data Scientist, Director of Data Science, and Sr. Data Scientist, where innovative clinical AI approaches and predictive models for patient-level illnesses were developed. Earlier experience includes data science positions at Kabbage, Inc., and i360, llc, as well as a physicist role at Piedmont Healthcare and junior medical physicist responsibilities at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Academic training includes a Master of Science in Medical Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from Georgia Institute of Technology, in addition to previous education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and California State University, Los Angeles.
